Canucks don’t need left D and certainly don’t need Zadina. If they ship out Garland, it’s for someone to play with Hughes

Not to be rude but outside of the top end guys who would be untouchable in this kind of a deal, I can’t think of a single player from Detroit I would want in return for Garland.

Is Garland worth that return? Probably. But, Both teams pass. Jury is still out on Zadina, he could end up being better than Garland and we don’t need to be giving up quality picks for wingers when he have more than we can put on the ice already.
