My projected cap and what I want to happen

Created by: BruinsGM37

Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
I think cap will be $87000000
I think Bergeron and Krejci call it a career after this year.
I don’t think we rebuild so here is what I want to happen next offseason.

⚠️!NOTE!⚠️ I am not going for AHL stuff. I am just going for stuff for 23-24 NHL roster.

Don’t be a jerk for RFA players I did not sign. I know, I was going for the NHL roster. Not the AHL. I know people are going to get mad I didn’t sign them. Don’t be a jerk about all the signings and my fantasy scenario that I have. Just what would you think about them and give helpful critics. Is the Colorado one realistic if that’s the case. Just won’t be a jerk and let me know what you think.

I know the Mack return will be more, I want to know your thoughts.

Let’s say BOS makes a trade and gets a 1st round pick. MacKinnon isn’t signed by COL and they look to trade him. They get a sign and trade done and let’s say Boston’s pick is top 3. Is this realistic?

    Boston doesn’t want to rebuild.

Ullmark's restrictive M NTC...doesn't make him an easy trade at all, if he doesn't want to leave Boston.

Why would mackinnon sign well less than market value in Boston that he wouldnt in Colorado? under 12m and 6 years? Why is he leaving money on the table to sign in Boston that he has 0 ties with or to the players there?

And a 1st and Reilly? That doesnt even get Girard, never mind MacKinnon.

Cap will only be 83.5m next year, it wont go up until escrow is paid off and that isnt slated to be done until 2-3 years from now

As expected, you were accosted by people who make one roster a year.

MacK is gonna need $2-$3M more to sign with a non-COL team. So if the cap rises as you predict, then this is fine.

Your jumping the gun. I never said just a first and Reilly. There is likely another first, bunch of top prospects and solid roster players like Taylor Hall. I know it would be expensive but 1st of all, I don’t have a top 3 pick I don’t think and second, I don’t know what the package will be. Only time will tell but this is what I think a foundation of the trade is. There is so much more involved.

it makes 0 sense for the Avs, and the contract you proposed would be signed yesterday if thats whats mackinnon wanted
The logic behind it for the Avs and Mack arent really there.

Boston doesnt have the piece to make a Stanley Cup defending team part with their best and franchise player
