What has Lafreniere done to warrant more than 4mil? Even if he does break out this year, still only one year of solid production. Poolparty and Yamamotto had two pretty good years playing with insanely better offensively taleneted players and didn't even get 4mil. Outside of being a #1 overall pick, why does Laffy deserve more than 4mil right now?

Yamamoto put up 40 points this year and 33 (per 82 games) last year playing with the best player on the planet. That a terrible comparison for laf if he puts up say 20-30-50.

As for miller hes a much better player than lindgren as well as the fact that the lindgren deal was a steal.
Not just that but already miller plays a bigger role than lindgren.

2021-22 he averaged 20:36 a game mostly due to the emergence of schneider. Id be really surprised if he isnt above 21 minutes a game next year.
He is a lot better than lindgren was when he signed and even that was an underpayment.
