Description
this is just hypothetical if you come up in these comments saying the yotes would never do this i will find you.
in doing this i have ruined the franchise, probably in worse shape than when i started with 0 futures and no picks. they would make the playoffs though so i mean it could be worse? (it probably couldn't)

Islanders say no. Romanov and Sorokin are best friends forever. Lou overpaid to acquire Romanov so that Sorokin would take all the islanders money. They aren’t trading him.

Also I think that’s an overpay for Keller anyway. Dude had a season ending injury and I’d like to see him play again before I would consider trading for him.

No way in hell does Tyler Bertuzzi commit long term with dumpster fire Arizona, And a bunch of worthless scraps and picks doesn't get him.

Patrick Kane doesn't waive his NMC, For dumpster fire Arizona either.

Give up all of that for Pierre-LucDubois whom wont sign long term with Arizona and Connor Hellebuyck what a joke.

Arizona should be trying to win the lottery next two years, have a ridiculous amount of cap space for Mathews and 7xmax amount, plus whatever else you can bring to town with Cooley, geekie and whoever else still on elc.

He probably did overpay based on Romanov’s production so far. I’m a big believer in Romanov and I could c him being worth the 13th pick in the long run. But a lot of that is dependent on his development.

Again I don’t mind if Lou overpaid cause Romanov is best buddies with Sorokin.

That is one of the dumbest takes ive ever heard. Who cares if he overpaid bc theyre friends. Like thats so backwards.
As for romanov hes a 22yo top 4 dman. Hes been a very solid player and you wouldnt be counting on any more development from him than anyone else.

No it’s not lmao. If trading for Romanov helps u resign Sorokin it’s worth it….

Sorry but thats ass backwards. Theres a difference between trading 13oa to resign someone and doing something like COL did drafting taylor makar in the 7th round.

I never said I don’t like Romanov. I said I think they traded too much to get him. But I can live with that if it helps theme resign Sorokin. Just because you keep saying my thought process is “ass backwards” doesn’t make you right.

Two completely different situations. It would be more comparable to signing Grabovski AND Kulemin because they were a package deal. The difference is that Sorokin and Romanov r good players. But was Romanov worth the 13th pick? Idk about that one yet….

honestly don't even think this team makes the playoffs and if they do, they get swept in the first round.
