Quoting: jake4leafs
they just lost their powerplay qb, they got miller sure but i was thinking they could like a sutter-barrie pairing to rebalance their blue line, im not too deep into the dallas culture and what theyre trying to build team wise
Theres no need to try to replace Klingberg. Miro will run first PP. Harley will be 2nd PP.
Miro’s offensive numbers arnt anything to write home about now. Stars have been playing defensive dump and chase for too long. Not good for anyones production.
Players will be able to create plays under Deboner rather than dump in a corner and hope we get the puck back to score a goal.
Miro’s production will go up, both even strength and PP. a factor in the PP succeeding will be the assistant coach in charge of PP who didnt have impressive numbers the last time he was on PP.
Theres bigger priorities in Dallas than replacing Klinger.
If Nill gets team friendly deals out of Jake and Robo, Stars would have a bit of money aside to combine with a salary that we can move to trade for Klinger at the deadline if we really need him. Depending on how well he does in Anaheim and how badly we need more production from our D.
Trading Hank for Barrie we lose 3 mil in cap spacce. Cap space we need for Jake and Robo. Doubt they both sign for 3x3.5.
Dallas wants to keep Hank for the same reason Leaf and Oiler fans want to trade for him.
