Edmonton has $14,370,000 to sign 10 players next summer, They don't have the cap to sign Pasta. And giving that up for a one year rental would be crazy.

Cap space doesn't accrue when you're into LTIR relief.

I agree. This team is a contender without Pastrnak, and while I'd love to add him I have no doubt that several years of Puljujarvi + Broberg + 1st will have a greater overall impact on the team than a few months of Pastrnak.

good thing B's wouldn't accept that in a million years so many teams would outbid especially if he agreed to an extension.

assuming B's are out already is also a joke because you guys have been saying that for the last 3 years yet we still end up being top of the league.

also B's still have ton's of time to extend pasta you act like that stuff just gets done in one day

Compare those players actual value to the return they got compared to Pasta actual value against his return.

1st/Broberg nice but again, what I have seen from Broberg has not impressed me yet. Puju while getting better still a big disappointment. No thanks.

If 2 months of Chiarot is worth that than 2 months of Pasta is worth 5 1sts. LOL

All im saying it is to rich for Edmonton to trade three first for a couple months of Pasta, if he was coming with an extension then yes. Again, Pasta will most likely sign back with Boston.
