I'm wondering: Do Calgary fans really think that Lucic and his contract have positive value?

Because I'll be honest, I think it would be closer to Lucic and a 2nd for future considerations.

Ducks don’t pay a 7th for Lucic let alone this much

Best case scenario for the flames is Lucic and a second for FCs

Considering there's only 1 million in actual money left to be paid out on Looch's contract it wouldn't cost a 2nd. More like a 3rd.

Better yet make it Lucic + 1st + 2nd/3rd for Lawson Crouse.

Lucic for Tschigerl maybe since Anaheim could flip Lucic with 50% retention for a 3rd/4th RD Pick

Only way CGY gets a 3rd for Lucic would be for retaining 50% as well, but I don’t believe the Ducks would be able to retain any more so flipping him wouldn’t be as easy or worthwhile to them

People don't get that Lucic is barely owed any real money this year. He's just really a cap casualty, and Anaheim has nothing too worry about when it comes to the cap. A 3rd, I'd even say a 4th plus Lucic for FC is more than fair. He'll help out in the locker room till the TD when you move him at 50% retained for a 3rd, maybe even a little depending on how he does.
