Trades are pretty fair, work for both sides in terms of need and value

And some of the best l;ines.

No clifford or anderson in there, but steeves/robertson/vilardiand a nice shout on michael stone and holl at 3RD.

I'm fine with acquiring Vilardi. Another Ontario boy. But not sure why LA needs to add the picks in the trade. One for one seems more likely...

I'm not sure that Los Angeles is all that interested in Sandin. We just re-signed Alex Edler, we have Mikey Anderson at the top of the LhD list, and we have Jakob Moverare (who has to pass through waivers) and Tobias Bjornfot (who doesn't) on the roster on that side already. Plus, there's the issue of signing Sandin to a new contract when we have no cap space (we'd have to make some other move to make room for him, like trading Sean Walker in a separate deal).

I don't think that the time is right for a Sandin-to-Los-Angeles deal.
