Backlund should have been a 3C for year due to his style of game, he was stretched way too thin playing 2C, he's an elite 3C and a good 2C. This is a perfect situation down the middle.

Yes it does. Sutter loved his Backlund-Coleman duo, and especially now they're going to be tasked with the shutdown role.

Kadri is a good two way forward too. Coleman and Kadri on a line together would be NASTY.

Personally I would want to see Huberdeau - Lindholm - Toffoli. I think that's just such a good fit to get Toffoli back to scoring in bunches. Mangiapane and Kadri play very similar and I would loooovvee them to raise hell in the offensive zone! Coleman Backlund are an elite shut down line with anyone else! Pelletier getting sheltered by Backlund would be great.

It's honestly a dream roster for Sutter, I don't think they have as explosive a regular season but they're built significantly better for the playoffs.

I only didn't do that as originally I had all three of coleman/kadri/mangiapane on one line and they're all left hand shots

As I said elsewhere, I would think they swap Tofolli and Mangiapane for the hand balance. Teams don't like 3 left handed players on a line
