Isles can’t afford or want any part of Sean Monahan’s contract

isles fans will not be pleased. They, somehow, think Beauvilier has more value than Pacioretty and Bjorkstrand, combined! And Lou, is their GM above all else and they still haven't learned. The guy needs to be fired like yesterday. He'll probably pay a 1st to dump Beauvilier!

Both teams got fleeced probably the worst comparison I’ve ever seen made both franchises were pissed at their gms for those moves

I made a isles AGM just now too from their perspective of the trade. Let me know what you think of it.

I think I agree with you though, monahan seems washed.

However if monahan ends up having a bounce back year this could look really shrewd by the Isles

Now you are just misstating what is being said. Pacioretty and Bjorkstrand where traded by teams who were over the cap and needed the cap space, the Isles are not in that situation so why would they be trading Beau at all.

Don’t worry. He won’t bounce back.

How do you know? It’s not impossible. He had 80 points in 2019!

Hip surgery is career altering. Wasn’t he mediocre the year before this anyway?

Probably 2C or maybe 3C behind pageau. I’d move Nelson to the wing

Fans are not upset at Lou for not signing bad free agent deals.
