Where does Tolvanen play? Nashville's top 6 wingers are: Forsberg, Duschene, Niederriter, Tomassino, Janneot, and Trenin.

All those players are above him on the depth charts

Not sure why TOR would.

Kerfoot isn't a real upgrade on any of those guys. Why does NSH want to give up too early on a young player, for a $3.5M rental who'd play 4th line minutes?

Kerfoot is a massive upgrade on your 3rd line centre. 50 points all even strength with his line mates being Tanner Janneot and Tomassino. Easily creates a deep top 9 that can compete with the elite of the West,

Sissons is the defensive presence on that line, that allows Trenin and Jeannot to forecheck and throw hits so aggressively (Tomasino's never played on the Herd line. He and Tolvanen will likely be competing for the final spot on the 2nd line). Sissons is also top ten in the NHL, in face-off %. Kerfoot is a fine middle six winger, but he'd be a steep downgrade for NSH at center.

Toronto doesn't decline, I mean both Ottawa and Nashville decline
