No team trades a guy they just signed that offseason. Strome isn’t being moved. Plus if you need right wing, get a right wing not a center.

He plays both C and RW, so having a guy that can step in and take the draw if Naz gets tossed is beneficial, especially on the PP.

But man, you need to be super high on Strome to want him that bad. It's also unlikely we move him, we brought him in on the understanding that he is going to shape the next generation of Ducks, he will end up with an A, possibly the C for a little bit on his sweater due to his leadership and locker room abilities.

I agree with ya, but Strome does Play RW too. Kind of like Lindholm.

But he hasn’t played right wing in a few years, maybe even further back then that, so it doesn’t make sense that he starts playing it again. It just makes more sense to acquire a natural right wing.

Maybe for as an interim between the when the current old guard retires and before the kids earn it, yeah I could see it happening.
