Big underpay for Miller. Bailey is an okay middle 6 guy who doesn't really save any cap room, Wilde is extremely touchable, and since I'd count that 2nd as the cost of $2.625M retained, I'm going to say that only getting a single first back would be a big disappointment.

It's been said before but I don't think the Canucks and Isles line up on a trade. Canucks would be looking for young RHD and the Isles have none that are movable.

What's the deal with Rathbone? How bad must he be defensively to not be an nhler as a ppg AHL defender

The issue is we're stacked at left side while the Kings are stacked on the right.

It's basically a prospect swap since Rathbone is left and Grans is right

I think I’d prefer durzi in a straight swap as he’s ready and playing in the NHL rn. Prospects would be awesome but getting a young rhd ready to play would be perfect

He isn’t even terrible defensively. He’s just heavily slept on which confuses me. He is almost a lock for the 3LD spot unless he has a terrible training camp

hes not bad defensively. Last year was his first full season playing pro hockey. Covid messed up his development since Harvard canceled their season too. Most defenders play a full year or two in the A, nothing wrong with it.
