Switch Clifford with Gaudette then that would be a good fourth line

Isles aren't giving up a 2nd rounder for Kerfoot when they already have enough middle-6 guys signed.

I can't see Montreal trading Evans at all, especially to a division rival. Even with a healthy Monahan and a signed Dach causing a logjam at C, they probably move him over to the wing at the expense of Armia or Byron in the lineup if they don't end up making anymore moves.

Hoping if the Sandin/Toronto situation becomes unrepairable, we're able to move him for a bit more than the 2nd we'd get via Offer Sheet.

Habs probably decline. I can see Dvorak traded but obviously not what you are looking for

No way the habs retain on evans for 3 years for such measly return.

Kokkonen has 0 value to the habs they easily have 5-7 LD around his age who are as gpod or better.

Isles easily decline. Aside from the fact that he doesnt have a roster spot and they probably dont have cap space for him, he isnt getting more than bjorkstrand thats a pipe dream

Or you could sign Gagner he did put up 31 points last season playing in Detroit's bottom 6 all season. Which is quite impressive considering Detroit wasn't very good last season.

Evans is not for sale. Even with the log jam a Center in MTL, Evans is versatile enough to move to either wing (it's where he played during the 2021 playoffs vs the leafs and Jets before Scheifele took his head off...)

Even for a rebuilding team, having a player like Evans making only $1.7mil for the next 3 years during flat cap years is extremely valuable.

    Haha, that's funny
Not only would Habs not want to trade Evans on a GREAT contract, but RETAIN salary for the rest of the contract.
    Absolute no from Habs
