There's no rush to trade Sandin. He won't fetch much in trade right now, he's not a very good offer sheet target because of what he wants. The Leafs aren't in any hurry to get him signed, they are fine if he sits so let him sit.

I wouldnt even do that. The value is fine but it doesnt make sense for the Avs to use up all of their cap space on him just for a pick. They should be trying to make the best team possible to try to win another cup, and in my opinion that includes signing Stastny/Rodrigues/etc for cheaper and accruing enough cap space to make a big add at the deadline
