you guys wont even make the playoffs lol, stop worrying about us, besides, ned was worse than murray last year lol

Detroit very likely won't make the playoffs this year. I'm fine with that. After 25 years of playoffs, 6 trips to the finals and 4 Stanley cups, Detroit fans are in the re-build for the long haul for long term success. Getting a top 10 pick in 2023 actually seems more appealing for the re-build than getting a taste of playoffs this year.

Detroit is now on 6 years no playoffs. Toronto's re-build went through 1 playoff appearance in 11 years, including that 4-1 3rd period lead in game 7, oof...but they had zero success before that long re-build, not even one trip to the finals. At least Detroit has multiple banners in the rafters to show for their re-build.

Well a 1st round exit is much more interesting then having to focus on a team that wont make the playoffs for another decade, i guess i can see why you dont want to talk about the wings or their players

Do me a favour. Please please please please continue thinking Detroit will not be in the playoffs for another decade. It will make it all the more frustrating for you when the team that's been drafting from the blueline out with guys who are all above 6'4" and skate exceptionally are shutting down Marner and co. during that decade. Detroit is very quietly building a monster that everyone is going to hate playing against.

Defense wins Stanley Cups. Offense wins Rocket Richard and Art Ross Trophies.

Only a Leaf fan would think 1st round exit's year after year are interesting. It's like you guys have Stockholm syndrome after being held hostage by all that losing over the past 50 years.

I literally have no idea how to respond to that.
How does it feel to cheer for the 1977 Vancouver Canucks?
About as random and pointless as to what you said.

Ben Chariots signing made more sense than what you said...and that signing made no sense...am i right?

I thought you wanted banter? This isnt banter this is i know you are but what am i. Dude, you're as bad at bantet as you are at defending chariot, and as I established earlier you are as bad at as he is actual hockey defence, which is real real bad.
But dont worry, the leafs will always be here for you to focus on instead of your own team

I doubt Phil Kessel, Nazem Kadri & Tyler Bozak all thought...man I wish I was still a Maple Leaf when they were hoisting the Stanley Cup.

At first I was like "Dont worry, i wont stop"
But then I was like "Yeah, ive squeezed the max amount of fun out of watching you scramble around the comment section like ben chariot in the d zone"

That's code for, I gotta go now because I'm gonna be late for my minimum wage job.

Cant resist this bait, but only because you set yourself up so wonderfully. Like dude, i want you to just read what i was replying to with that dont stop thing and marinate in how hilariously bad it makes this chirp attempt look.
You arnt even reading your own comments at this point! Oh man, like i know old is in the name, but even alzheimers isnt an excuse for being flummoxed by your own comment that badly.
Lol, even topped it off with a personal insult. You're so bad at this.

I can resist this bait however. Your chirps are just getting quite boring for me. Onto the next post where a Leaf fan thinks Sandin's value is double of what it actually is. If he was in your top 4 for the next decade, Dubas would have treated him like it and moved money/contracts out to pay the guy like he's a legit top 4. He's not doing that for a reason. Sandin is completely over hyped by Leaf fans in their "we're the center of the hockey universe" bubble. Cheers bud.

I've seen the 2nd line by a lot of AGM'S here. The problem with that line is, who backchecks? Tavares is to slow if caught down low at all, Nylander backchecks when he feels like it, so that leaves Robertson a rookie to play the defensive role.

Fair change bunting and Robertson that could work

id say they are about the same.

Dmen take longer to develop. In that sense Sandin is ahead of him. Hayton has not been very impressive in any pro league. While Sandin is ready for top 4 minutes. I don't think their value is miles apart.

Definitely an option the thing is idk how good he is defensively. A scarecrow would have a plus stat the way Marner and Matthews backcheck, they are 2 of the top takeaway guys in the league.
