    Detroit passes.

Stone wouldn't waive his NMC for Detroit. And his 5 x $9,500,000 is too rich for their blood.

Stone is going to cost more than just Perron.

Yzerman wont give up what it would cost to get Mark Stone.

Like i said Detroit clearly passes.

Well yeah, obviously Detroit doesn’t need to trade for stone because he’d be very expensive, but if Yzerman gets a call and is offered Mark Perron for David Perron straight up? He says yes 100 times out of 100

I have to disagree $9.5M a season for a winger who put up 31 points last season and has never had more than 64 points in a season. Now you are going to come back with he only played 37 games but he hasn't played 70 games in a single season since the 2016-17 season. He is made of glass and not worth half of his contract.

OK so do you want to pay a 30yr $9.5M for the next 5 seasons who has only averaged 48 games a season for the last 6 seasons?

I have no problem with this post because it won't happen for a multitude of reasons. I was simply responding to this comment "Dude stone is one of the best wingers in the NHL. Detroit absolutely says yes" Because realistically it's not that good for Detroit. If you're paying a player $9.5M a season expecting him to play 70 to 75 games a season isn't asking too much.

I’ll gladly pay 9.5 million per year for one of the, if not the best two-way player in the NHL

Even though he has been averaging 48 games a season? Would you trade Lee for Stone straight up?
