I'm hearing nothing but great things about Bobby McMann and think he has a chance of sticking with Leafs out of training camp.

Do you honestly think he is good enough to be on the second line?

No......He will be on the Leafs 4th line Energy line if he makes the team.......He had a great year last season on the Marlies and brings size and scoring to the Leafs 4th line.

Vancouver not making that deal. Likely no team making that deal, the league this year has a bunch of teams needing to dump cap to become compliant, and the teams with the cap hold all the power. They will hold out for assets to take on cap dumps, not give up assets for a player who is undersized, has 1 year left on his contract, and just had a career year on a team that had about 5 players have career years.

Seems to be pointing that way in the league but Kerfoot if need to dump and give up assets seems still unlikely.

If the leafs play Tavares and Nylander together, they will need a 2-way winger with them. Their defensive issues were the reason they were broke up last season. Tavares finished a -8 and Nylander -9, not good for your second line.

I agree with be one of the reasons being the defensive side on that line. Jarnkrok would fit that bill and his best performances are on LW. Not sure if F1(get/attack the puck/ Matthew Knies come on down and have awesome NCAA growth to season for our run) is needed more. Maybe someone who does both like Engvall works. I just don't think another scorer (Robertson) on that line is the solution. Maybe scorer and all players works hard on defense and attack the puck carrier but what are the odds Robertson Tavares and Willy do that every game?
