i agree with you, but my question about harris is that he was about to test free agency because he didn't have an icetime possibility.
If we don't give him a spot will he be willing to return in university or ask for a trade?? i don't know the answer about that situation.
Keep in mind that we have Lane Hutson who is similar style player with 3 years of development widow.
Ghule can still try to win another cup memorial.
So i propose to test Harris to increase is value and then take a decision next year at the draft.

What do you think about my logic? fair not fair?

Yea I could see that for sure, it's sound logic. Completely fair assessment imo.

I feel like Harris could also be a potential trade chip during this offseason to package with one of the abundance of wingers on this roster which would open up that spot for Guhle to get some NHL exposure so he's well established come time for this team to really compete (potential for a 2-3 year turn around if management plays their cards correctly)

I have good ideas from time to time haha Guhle & Barron should be a killer pairing someday soon too. I wanna see that develop sooner than later, both 2020 first round picks who have developed nicely so far I'd say. Imagine what they'd look like after a couple of seasons playing next to each other in Montreal...
