Don't think he's cut out as in NHL player. There's still upside but he doesn't look good.

Surprised he hasn’t been traded or cut lose yet. Kief is a really solid player but Trotz never committed to him. Hopefully this year is different and he truly establishes himself

Why though? he has upside, certainly hasn't been bad, get him a look with the new coach. Why cut a useful player because of his draft position?
