McTavish just dominated the WJC, why would the ducks trade him now? Especially considering that would probably be an underpayment when he hits his prime.

unless dach blows it out of the water next season, or that pick is top three, ducks have to pass i think

What if I took off the protection? Top 5 pick guarantee and Bedard is then possible.

Can't think of any reason why Ducks would consider this, just way too risky.

McTavish wouldn’t go unless it was for a huge haul imo.

They’re not guaranteed anything though. Unless it was Bedard for that pick I’d say no. McTavish is the kinda guy who’s both your captain and superstar.

A top 5 pick in 2023 is pretty big, and then adding another first round pick (Mesar) and Dach

World juniors kind of reminded me of crosby/Bergeron world juniors, with anaheims timeline I think they are going to need a rather large package to not to see what they have in mctavish. Possibly some recency bias but i think I would take my chances on mctavish also. Could be interesting start with him and zegras

Again I wouldn’t do it unless it was Bedard. I just think very highly of both McTavish and Bedard.

Okay and none of them are projected to be as good as Bedard.

I mean it could land Anaheim bedard, but I don't see them winning the lottery again

Edit: nvm I saw the conditions and that's so bad

I'm sure they'd consider trading McTavish for Bedard and I'm definitely way too late making that comment.

If you drafted Bedard I'm sure they'd consider trading McTavish for Bedard. But that puts the trade a year away.

We all have dreams (mine involves Salma Hayek), so I understand and won't criticize this one.

A lovely, lovely woman. One of the best and most attractive things about her is that she has one of the most beautiful voices I've ever heard. Every time one of those Zorro movies comes on, I have to watch it for a while just to see and hear her.

The only reason the Ducks would move McTavish would be in a guaranteed deal for Bedard. Even then, I think McTavish is the better fit for Anaheim.

I'll be curious to see how Bedards size translates to the NHL, I'm a bit worried that he is going to get roughed up by the big guys and have a shortened career as a result.
