Sharks don’t have the cap space or roster spot or want for Dermott

No, no that won't do. Send your cap dump to an actually interested party.

Steal for the Sharks and Dermott was traded for a 3rd rounder.

Doubt VAN is going to dump pearson like that unless he has a bad year but is better to just buy him out

Maybe there is slight bit of cap adjustment with the signings and he sticks around. Not awful for a mid pick if needed.

JT Miller could get a better return do not think? I assume anywhere for a 1st and an A- prospect

Too much for Zub. Would be another Myers 2.0 just like Severson

Dermont isn’t a cap dump if he is a RFA but if your moving him for a 5th it’s because he isn’t worth his QO to you guys. and the sharks have a ton of LD similar to him, what we need is an affordable quality top 4 LD. and Dermont isn’t that.

I think it would have already happened then.

Makes sense. It will really just depend on who wins the battle for third pairing. Though Dermott can play right side as well. It's more just signifying he has some value but really an awkward fit in Van unless Rathbone isn't cutting it.
