Just For Fun

Created by: TMLBRIAN
Team: 2022-23 Toronto Maple Leafs
Initial Creation Date: Aug. 23, 2022
Published: Aug. 23, 2022
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
Miller Extends 7m x 8 years (the last few years of this would suck for sure - I get that)

Muzzin wouldn't waive - I understand that.

This was for fun.

This is the type of team I would want Dubas to try to create. More size, and physicality combined with their high level skill.

Replace Niemelä, with Liljegren if you want VAN to retain salary on Miller, also Schenn doesn't need to be included in the trade and VAN doesn't need Holl.

All of these trades are scary bad (except MAYBE the Van trade).

You NEED a 1st back if you trade Nylander, and especially to the Kraken (they suck, FYI). Not to mention, Bjorkstrand is a downgrade.

Chychrun should not and will not cost that much. Come back and roast me if I am wrong, feel free.

You are funny.
First, ZERO chance leaf’s add Lilligren to any trade for a rental.
Second, almost no chance any team that wants Miller can afford him without retention.
Third - even with retention, canuckles almost assuredly have to take salary back as most competing teams are cap strapped.
Fourth - this is a MASSIVE overpay by Leafs for one year rental; Leaf’s giving up 2 of their top 5 prospects + a 1st & 2nd and it’s still not enough for you 😅. Like I said, you’re funny tears of joy

If the Leafs want Schenn included in a Miller trade then Liljegren has to be coming back in the package

I extended Miller in this AGM. So that was part of the deal. So this package was not for a 1 year rental. 8 years, 7m per year is a ton though. So feel free to criticize that though.

No thanks. Schenn is worth a 3rd round pick. You get a replacement player in Holl in this agm. Higher upside than Schenn but he also has a higher downside.

This is a hugeee package going to Vancouver as is.

Didn’t see Holl originally, but the Canucks shouldn’t downgrade at RHD. I’d either want Liljegren over Niemela or take out Schenn/Holl. This is a good package though I agree

Would suck to go from Schenn to Holl but I have to imagine Van accepts. That’s a pretty great package
