First off i'm not a Canucks fan i can't even stand them.

And secondly rubbish doesn't get the quality of player like Miller. And yeah he's a rental with any Canadian team as he wont commit long term with any Canadian team.

There's no evidence to suggest that lol, the fact that he's open to an extension in Vancouver suggests the contrary. Will a deal happen maybe not, but that doesn't mean he isn't willing to extend in Vancouver or elsewhere in Canada.

Also, getting a top prospect and a mid pick isn't bad for a rental if there is no market for him, especially if he's unwilling to resign like you claimed (which isn't true). So "rubbish" can get quality.

Sorry to lump you in with the canuckle legion . Miller at best is worth pick (1st) + prospect(s). I personally wouldn’t trade any of the leafs top 3 (Knies, Niemela or Robertson) for a rental. He’s good but not that good & Leafs are a top 5 offensive team (& Stanley cop contender) without him so no need to give up the farm.we can target a lower level winger (Bunting 2.0) to play with JT / Willy or Matty / Mitch;

Kerfoot would be the Canucks best LW at the moment given this roster, Holl also is a pretty effective dman for $2M. Don't see how everything else the Leafs are giving up is worthless though, Niemela is a bonafide stud, top 25 ranked on pNHLe and I'm sure he's at least top 25 in all prospect lists. I also love when people say a late first is useless, how many guys in the 20-30 range do we see taken and end up being stars?

As a Canucks fan if we got this package in a trade for Miller I'd be happy, that's why I made this team
