Vegas would kill for that rn. Their backup goalie is an orange cone. Logan Thompson isn’t gonna get much rest next year Lmao.

Thats pretty ignorant on goalie development.

Only 2 goalies younger than primeau played 10 games last year and one was Daws who like primeau was forced tp play before being ready due to injuries. Also the bulk of his games came between jan 17- feb 10 and at that poont ducharme was still in charge and edmundson kulak savard dvorak caufield drouin armia gallagher byron all missed games during that span.

Unless your a knight or hart level talent you arent in the nhl before 24 as a goalie full time. He is still very much a highly valued prospect.

Allison has 0 value to the habs. He turns 25 in a few weeks, the habs already have 11 wingers signed not including the centees potentially movong to wing.

A trade proposal made with 0 consideration of a teams needs

Well in 2019 he was the best junior goalie in America, making him the starter for team USA who won silver at the WJC.

Not bad for a 7th rounder, eh!

He's not available sorry.

A. Value isn't remotely close to be the same, he's still habs top 5 prospects

B. Why would MTL trade their top goalie prospect who needs just one more year and he'll probably be ready for a bottom 6 winger ?!

Then why would your team go get this loser then?
It's a win-win then, to just effing pass on the deal bro.
Habs pass as fast as your ignorance on the value of that trade.
I'd shoot my mother in the face if that trade was even conceived in one cell of any credible GM candidate, let alone a hired one.

And a winger... for the Habs roster... wow... after Carey Price has just upset the Montreal market with a covet injured-retirement announcement.
Yeah, let's trade the goalie prospect NOW for a winger, since we Montreal has 876994776993775900388504 wingers right now.
Smartest way to approach this from a loser mind? Go back to the fact he was picked up in the 7th round.

Damn... wow...

Why do I come read these comments? Why? WHY ??

Wow do i feel bad for your mother, you Hab fans are pathetic.

I didn't even propose the trade, I certainly don't want him. I would rather see Wade Allison get a fair shake and stay healthy for once, kid was a very talented goal scorer in college and has a legit NHL shot.

Also, we do have Hart and Fedetov, and Ersson, and Kolosov, already in the pipeline, we don't need another goalie prospect.

Your comment here going off for no reason is just as ****in stupid bro, ****in relax.

That's true, their goalie room was awesome two years ago, now looks like dog**** with Lehner injured.

Karma is real I guess. Absolutely 0 loyalty to their longest tenured players. Also even when they drafted well they traded those guys out of town!!!

Your reply - "you Habs fan" - is sufficient to see you put an individual in a box and then just trashes that box.
Automatically proves a weak stance and weak critical thinking.

However, I did re-read my reply, and it was indeed way too harsh, since I thought you had proposed the trade lol.
Should have been kinder.
I apologize for the tense tone man.

And frankly, it's funny cause we both agree lol; this trade is a lose-lose and we both agree.
Have a great day man, I should check myself more when replying and throwing tension around like that.
World needs a ton more kindness these days, so I should be doing my part a bit more.

Peace my fellow hockey fan grin

I'm no psychologist here so I'm just going to say agree to disagree on that first point, I still think my stance holds water (less the Habs trash talk).

The thing is, you're right, the trade doesn't necessarily benefit either team, and each team has needs that these players can fix IF they come around and realize their potential. So all in all, just not a good trade and one certainly that doesn't mesh with either team.

I couldn't agree more about the second to last paragraph.

Peace my friend.

And yet.....they still have a brighter future than us. The difference being they intentionally have made these moves and it just backfired almost every which way. Compare that to the Flyers who just slept walk through the last two seasons and still managed to be one of the worst teams in the league and also spending to the cap, is just mind boggling to me. It's certainly not easy to be so bad and so misguided. The Flyers FO makes the Vegas FO look like the best in the league. Sad state of affairs...
