Description
This is a practice for my best guess of all 32 teams Opening Night Rosters. More than anything I'm hoping this gives me some insight into other fan bases opinions as to how close I am.

With this being said there are obviously still some interesting UFA's on the market that need homes, so bare with me.

I could see a depth signing like Motte, as middle and lower class UFAs have been squeezed this offseason and will be less picky and look for any deal with training camp around the corner. In terms of forward lines, I think Connor and Dubois will be together as they showed great chemistry last season and I believe Samberg leapfrogged Heinola on the depth chart as he finished the season with Pionk, while Heinola was with the Moose.

Barring a trade by WPG, this is pretty damn close. The only suggestion I would make is to swap Wheeler for Ehlers and then slide Perfetti over to 2LW.

Switch Samberg with heinola and make that the 2nd pair with the 3rd being Dillon - schmidt/demelo I'd prefer Rodriguez to Motte as a right shot would be nice but Motte Milano steel all could have an impact

Thanks OP for doing your list in reverse alphabetical order, unless I missed the first 31. wink

Next year you should consider doing it in order/reverse order of the draft. On the other hand, if you want to mess with folks, do it from the midpoint of the league alphabetically and work your way outwards... #17, #16, #18, #15 ....

Adding some cheap depth should be Chevvy's only job left this season, You think if he was gonna make a deal it wouldve been done already.

The weather is still beautiful on Lake of the Woods. Cooling down next week, so he might return to his office.

I like that Motte signing. Adds depth to a team with no depth. I like the lines. I would put Wheeler at RW2 and Perfetti at RW1. You could possibly move Scheifle and Dubois around. The bottom six is cool. Motte adds needed depth. For D I would have Dillon-Pionk, Morrissey-Schmidt and Samberg- DeMelo. With Samberg it’s kind of ruined Heinola’s great future. Goaltending is fine.
