I feel like the Rangers take that, no? Their 5/6/7 D right now are Schneider/Zac Jones/Libor Hajek - I feel like Sandin is a definite upgrade here.

I think Nashville passes, though - Jeannot is more of a finisher than Kerfoot, and I personally would want to see a full healthy season from Robertson before treating him as a plus asset.

Can't see Nashville moving Jeannot for that. He's a big piece of their future. The rangers trade maybe but they have a lot of young d and not sure about the cap space.

From a Nashville perspective, I’d have to pass. I’m just not high on Robertson and Kerfoot would be a pure rental.

Toronto's 3rd round pick is tentatively owned by Arizona. Nashville is not cap compliant with this trade, and as already mentioned, the return for Jeannot is underwhelming.

Upgrade on Jones and Hajek. Personally not over Schneider to me.

Agreed - but one of those first two guys is playing every night on the bottom pair, so it's definitely making that pair stronger.

I think they need a short term fix until Robertson is ready. He and Schneider on the 3rd pair could be fantastic.
