Yeah I just looked up his contract usually they have the M prior to the NTC but yeah it's 10 team NTC.

Yeah I know that he's not going to be buried.

I don’t mind Dermott or the general trade but if we’re moving Bear that likely means we’re keeping Gardiner and we already have Coglan so not sure where Dermott would slot in. I think Bear for a pick makes more sense for the Canes.

Why do you guys care about this trade you guys are not general managers for nhl teams so you guysdon’t get to decide what trades happen in the nhl

I'm not big on Dermott at all. I think Bear is the RHD to go, since Canes have Coghlan and Chatfield. I'd like to move out Gardiner and get someone better than Dermott for the 3-LHD. My preference is Soucy. or Soucy-like. Or maybe we go bigger. Who knows. Sounding now like Gardiner might not be healthy to start the season. We'll know more soon.

You will. Waddy mentioned at an STM breakfast this morning that Gardiner may in fact not be ready to start the season. It is already starting to creep into hockey news. We'll know pretty soon what the scoop is.
