Do you know exactly why he’s not playing this year? Some addiction?

I think this will be the line-up (players), but positionally, I would like to see Laine back on his natural LW (2nd line), and Marchenko on the RW across from Gaudreau.
Laine & Voracek should be back together on a line.
Sillinger & Roslovic are interchangeable at 2C/3C based on chemistry.
Bemstrom may replace the chemistry that Tex had on line #4 with Robinson & Kuraly. Otherwise, Oliver plays a heavy checking game, and either Gaunce or Danforth did well on 4th line duty in Tex's absence.

He lost two family members back-to-back partway through last season and had to take a leave of absence to go home. So it's probable that he just hasn't recovered fully from that yet.

Two deaths among his close family last winter and he's just not mentally ready to be away from the rest of his family yet so he's going to play in Switzerland this year.
