That Toronto trade is awful value for the Canucks. Wouldn’t want Kakko either, he’s not looking that great. I like the Fabbro deal most, and think we may be able to get another smaller piece potentially

The Blues counter by saying "Sorry, we have neither the need nor the cap for anything like this. If you have an idea for something that includes a similar amount of cap going back, let us know."

Rangers are not trading Kakko for a Miller rental. Best counter is Nils Lundqvist and a 1st but has to come with 50% retention. If that doesn't work, then trade him elsewhere.

Who wouldn’t want to trade a good young player/high end young prospect and a first for an aging center? Miller is fantastic but I don’t think any team is lining up to make any of these deals tbh.

I'll take my chances and bide my time until Miller gets crushed by the FA market next year.

If the blues needed Miller it's what I think he would cost for a full season but we don't have a need for him or the cap

I, going to say no because I don’t want to see him back on the Rangers or Kane for that matter. They need to see what they have in guys like Kakko, Laf, Chytil and Kravtsov before doing a move like this. The only way to do that is to give them the ice time required and a clear path to the top 6/9. Adding rentals further stunts their growth and relegates them to the bottom six.

Who wouldn’t want to trade a good young player/high end young prospect and a first for an aging center? Miller is fantastic but I don’t think any team is lining up to make any of these deals tbh.

Most of these suck if you look at past rental trades. Miller is the best rental on the block in years
