Why would Coyotes pay that much for a 33 year old price? that seems insane

trade would happen next offseason as a sign and trade so he would be 31 at the time of the trade, not 33. They have enough offensive young talent to sacrifice strome for a top goalie (keller, domi, dvorak, etc.) and they need a goalie after smith

Price is 29. But your point is correct. Why make the trade? Cause Arizona has cap space and Montreal doesn't want much cap money in return. Seems most posts have this theme.
