Yes to Evan Rodrigues, if he can be fit under the salary cap. I'm not sold on Michael Stone.
I see no reason to chase Patrick Kane. Sure the offensive potential might be outrageous, but the Oilers are likely to be better served by finding more balance across the roster. Its likely that the trade market for Tyson Barrie will improve as the TDL nears, maybe he can be exchanged for some depth scoring up front. If the 2023 1st round pick and a middling prospect are potential trade pieces, its possible the Oilers can acquire a veteran, shut-down, RHD to replace Barrie. At that price, they ought to be able to find a player capable of playing second pair minutes and killing penalties. That is exactly what they need in the playoffs.
