Crazy to think that Terry could have been had like a year and a half ago; I remember them talking about him on Headlines and iirc they said the asking price wasn't all that high. It seemed so obvious that there was a player on the cusp of breaking out - and on a cheap deal, too. Can't believe nobody coughed up for him.

I made an ACGM last offseason where I traded bellows and two 2nds for Terry and was told its an overpay for a 3rd line winger lol. Terry's breakout was so easy to predict. He just needed an increased role with better linemates.

I think Minny would save space for TDL over making an unnecessary move. Not hating on Kerfoot or Holl but I’d much rather use the cap on Rossi, Addison, Boldy, even potentially Beckman who all make less than Kerfoot combined per AAV.

Minnesota and Carolina are going to flex their purely stupid drafting value on the league this year and next. They’ve each got an incredibly stupid amount of talent paired with their already contender teams. No one rivals them except the rebuilders.

Eh, 4Cs are a dime a dozen. Not worth giving up an asset for. Any organization should have like 3 guys that can fill a 4th line role, it’s by far the easiest hole to fill on the entire roster. And you can get decent guys for cheap in free agency to boot (ERod is still out there for example)

But yeah there are so many 4c's still available in FA (Eakin, Bozak, Rask, Richardson, Nash, Gagner, etc) so Jost especially at 2mill probs would get a 4th or be traded in a similar style to how Talbot was
