I do love me some Coronato, but idk if the Flames are willing to trade for Meier; their cap structure would need a lot of tinkering with Valimaki needing an extension and only 10 mil in cap space even with Lucic coming off the books by years end.

Idk if it’s feasible.

ZAR-Kampf-Kubel would be such an annoying 4th line

Hopefully he gets a deal as while he doesnt bring much for offense his shutdown and physical playstyle are his strong points

Still remember when

ZAR-Bleuger-Tanev was challenging the Identity line

Jarnkrok or Engvall

Thinking of a Swede 3rd line (Engvall-Jarnkrok-Nylander) kind of like what the Blues did with that 3rd line of Russians (Buchnevich-Barbashev-Tarasenko)

Or if necessary sign Rask to a cheap deal to be the 3c

Can Jarnkrok still play center ? I thought he was strictly a RW. I like the ZAR addition, he’s great defensively. But he’s an offensive blackhole so you need someone on the 4th line to be able to drive offense.

Jarnkrok can play all the positions. Still remember him as a LW with Nashville back in 2020. If neither of those 2 cut it could always sign Victor Rask to a cheap 1 year deal. As in general Nylander would probs be the guy taking all the faceoffs anyways (like what we saw in the Chucky-Kerfoot-Nylander line)

The reason I believe Toronto added ZAR was just for the physicality and defense. This guy shuts down top lines offense and pair him with Kampf who is an annoying little puck stealer, and Kubel who is one of the best forecheckers and your set.

Hopefully he makes the team

Yeah maybe NAK can drive offense enough to make that line a thing. The isles 4th line used to be good because Cizikas was one of the best play driving bottom 6 centers in the league. Now he fell off a cliff offensively and that’s why the line sucks.

Evan Rodrigues seems like a slam dunk to move to LW if they can sign him, but it seems Cheveldayoff is taking a long Lou nap

Rodrigues is a C/RW he would be playing his offside

Milano could work but to me it seems clear he does not want to be in Winnipeg as if he was he would be signed weeks ago

So that leaves Sprong but hes not a full time top 6 guy and I feel would be just another Svechnikov in WPG where it doesnt workout
