Like I said before, I think it’ll be Formenton on 3LW because Joseph has shown chemistry with Tkachuk and Norris, but that’s probably my #2 set of line combinations if I was the coach, and the first thing I turn to when a slight slump happens. Having a point per game guy like Batherson on the 3rd line is such an insane luxury to have. If Pinto can reach his upside (2-way 2C) we basically have 3 fully top 6 calibre lines + one of them has elite potential (Cat-Jimmy-Giroux)

If Milano goes to the KHL I’d be kinda shocked. I’d much rather have him than Eakin on the Flames, even if Sutter would occasionally sit him in the press box. Several other teams could use a solid playmaking middle six winger (Colorado, Ottawa if Formenton negotiations drag out, he’d be an upgrade in Florida imo, etc.).

Dorion mentioned bringing in a D on a PTO I think, so probably a RD. That might mean Subban or Stralman (I really hope it isn’t Stralman, he might be the only D in the league worse than Zaitsev LOL)

Other than that I pretty much agree. Motte probably ends up somewhere but everyone else is prob not in the NHL next year. The guys that’ll be on waivers on Day 1 are probably an upgrade over these guys.

It is quite crazy the absolute tear Dorion put on this offseason.
I mean, hes been a rabid animal since being cut off the leash of Melnyk.

The sheer change of what he has done in Ottawa should not be under stated. Yes maybe the Sens are already being "beat like a dead horse" by fans but when was the last time we saw this drastic of a summer. Not just notable moves; but massive, culture changing directions.

- Acquire Debrincat for basically the same price as Dach/ Romanov lol
- Move an anchor contract for negligible cost
- Provide a veteran, comfortable goalie tandem (my big question mark tho)
