Really hope they don’t make these moves

Really? I don't know what there farm system looks like. Do they have a bunch of prospects waiting to break through or do you just flat out hate the moves?

I just don’t like the moves that are more realistic from a contract perspective - Lucic, Staal (don’t mind keeping but should be for closer to 2M), Rittich or Jarry (Kochetkov will be one of the goalies next year and I’m open to Jarry I guess but I’m not a big fan of his).

I could see Kane as a rental even though that’s not typically our MO but I can’t see him signing a longer term deal here. Weegar is good but he’s gonna get a bigger deal and I don’t think the Canes should be in on him in that scenario.

You’re also putting us in a cap crunch going forward. The following year Aho Jarvis Turbo Pesce Skjei all need raises or to be replaced and there’s not much flexibility the way this team is constructed.

Also I’d hope Morrow makes a run at the team next year.

Quick thoughts... like Weegar but probably can't do that contract going forward. Might have a prospect ready to move in. Sincerely hope the 4th line looks very different than that. Lucic? Had to save the best for last. That goalie tandem is an absolute nightmare. Kind of speechless there. Please don't forget our own prospects in all of this planning. Free agents fill in gaps where the team can't.
