Quack fans - what say you? Armia is obviously somewhat of a cap dump. But he was just the MVP of the World Championships - and has looked very dangerous at times when he's on, even dominant. You guys need wingers, and have tons of cap space. Does a second get it done in a very deep draft? I say yea.

Buff daddies. Casey Mittelstadt kind of sucks lbh. D-vo is a pretty legit upgrade - a legit 3rd line center. That gets it done. Recall that we had to trade a 1st for him - and once St Louis took over he actually was the highest P/60 player on the Habs. Gets us our 2nd back.

Just do not see how Slaf makes the team on opening day with this many wingers. Even with no Armia and D-vo gone, still don't see a place.

I think optimal situation for Hughes would be if Hoffman has a great year and they deal him at the deadline.

It's say if we have the cap space to hold Armia, let's just hold him. Giving up a 2nd in this draft when you can get an Owen Beck or a Lane Hudson is crazy

Verbeek has publicly stated he has zero interest in multi-year cap dumps

And the Ducks dont need cap dump wingers, we need top 6 wingers

Comtois, Jones, Vatrano, Silfverberg, Terry, McTavish (starts at LW, then Lundestrom probably moves there), Henrique, Carrick.

Theres 8 wingers already and thats before mentioning young guys that could make the roster like Tracey, Perreault.

Yes the Ducks need wingers, but only if they are true top 6 wingers, not a cap dump like Armia

Doubtful but even then: Cozens, Krebs, Savoie, Kulich, Ostlund. Not really any need to go outside the franchise to replace Mitts

I doubt they'd want to take on Armia when they already have Silfverberg on their team. And that man is so much garbage you could honestly mistake him for a walking trash can, and he's making 5+ mil iirc.

Teams even if they have cap now, don't want multi year cap dumps or even iffy question value players.
