At this point I think it’s a pretty fair return; good young Dman to develop (even if he is a LHD), plus a 1st and 2nd. Kerfoot can be flipped at the deadline too. I doubt the return would be much better at the deadline, and my worry is if they hold onto Miller until then this team will be right around the playoff bubble and they risk losing him for nothing if they make a playoff push. Just get the best deal possible now IMO.

Sandin is pretty much useless to us. He is a sub 6' LHD. Sound familiar? Unless Kerfoot truly can fetch a good return like Leafs fans say he can, then this is not a good trade for us

Idk. A rental 3C, A maybe top 4 Dman, and a late 1st? Doesn’t really address any major needs and features no high end piece. I get that it’s kinda realistic given the incredibly soft forward market right now but it would also be incredibly disappointing

VAN is in no rush to move Miller. They need the right deal to help the team now and for the future. Wait till the TDL, the offers will be much better.

That's a pretty pathetic offer for J. T. Miller, Pretty sure Vancouver can do better then this elsewhere.

Rathbone is a lateral move from Bjornfot and Moverare. No thanks.

I don’t see how they’ll be much better. There will likely be a bidding war amongst a number of contenders, especially if VAN retains 50%, but it’s pretty rare you see much more value swapped at the deadline than what we’re talking about now.

Leafs can't afford the cap.....just they have to give Kerfoot away for free and more to be cap compliant. I really can't see a Miller early in the season unless a contender loses a player to LTIR and then they can be cap compliant for the year. Canucks better hope that Miller performs to 100 point level last season and not his usual 70 point season,
