But wait… Billy G feels a cold breeze in the air. He looks off into the Minnesota wilderness and ponders… he murmurs to himself “parise and Suter haunt me.”

He rushes to the phone, desperately eager to contribute. He calls dubadubadoo and says “zucc and the thrill can take you there.” Without a second to spare, be drafts a trade document.

He sends it over stating Minnesota sends The dynamic duo, and Boldy to the TML in exchange for the three BEST NHL PROSPECTS ever in Joey Anderson, abbr-r2-d2, and Connor burns. He also accepts the unbelievable value contracts of Muzzin and Holl.

Dubas wipes off his glasses which have fogged up… he takes a sigh and calls BG… “I’ll throw in a 7th as well sir…” BG hesitates and says “no need, you are Toronto…. Get it done”

AC/DC starts playing in the air, as the camera pans over the Minnesota country side….

Who exactly are the clowns? Even when Tampa is playing bad you weren’t able to beat them. So yes, 18 will run over into 19, and 19 into 20 more than like. So until the Leafs actually win a round, everyone else will take the side of history repeating itself.

That is going to be an extra painful division when that happens.

How is losing in the first round worst than a team that hasn't made the playoffs for 11 years running.......do not see your logic?

You are missing the boat.......and not realizing that the Leafs have one of the best winning records for the last 3 years........A powerhouse team is a team that wins alot of games to my mind.

All the regular season wins are nice, but the Post-Season is what counts though

U can’t be a “powerhouse” if you’re never a threat to even contend for the Cup

He is coaching two former starting money goalies who have won a lot of games in the National Hockey League and are both highly motivated to perform great..........so should not be too hard of job for the new goalie coach........Leafs goaltenders are going to prove you wrong.

In reality, Campbell had one of the worst high danger shot goals against in the entire NHL.......and yet Leafs still finished 4th overall in the entire NHL with mediocre goaltending........This is going to be a great year for the Leafs.

They’re a threat in the “high regular season finish” sense. But ya I’d agree not a cup winner built roster

Obviously I’m talking about a threat in the playoffs
Which the Leafs can’t be considered, bc they lose in the 1st round EVERY YEAR

This is the Leafs year......and I have been following them very closely and thay have been steadily taking baby steps to get it done in the playoffs.

Losing to Montreal in 7 games was the result of losing Tavares and Muzzen in the series and not having a shut down 3rd line and great energy 4th line and running into a hot Carey Price.

Losing to Tampa in 7 games was the result of weaker goaltending by Campbell, a couple of bad breaks and terrible refereeing in game 6..

The Leafs actually outplayed both Montreal and Tampa in both 7 games series......and now Matthews, Marner, Nylander and Rielly are highly motivated to end the playoff series drought......Going to be a great year to be a Leafs fan........and sure you will want to join the party as well and become a Leafs believer in the team.

Dubas has upgraded the Leafs Energy 4th line and brought in superior money goalies even though the Toronto Media doesn't appreciate both Murray and Samsonov.

Don’t care about Toronto media, you’re stuck on repeat. I don’t trust Murray from watching him. Samsonov is their best chance but if he was money I’d have to think caps would’ve kept him.

Don’t like kampf as a cup winning third line c and just not a fan of the 4th line on a cup winner.

I heard Caps soured on Samsonov after he was injured in some offseason activity.......There is something weird here......because he posted a nice winning record playing in Washington.

Stats were subpar last two years and everything I heard out of Washington was they had more fair in vanacek which still wasn’t much
