Doesn’t make sense to trade LW & LD for LW & LD

Even worse it's no anyway near cap compliant. 21 man roster and RFAs Valimaki and Bjornot haven't been signed....therefore the Leafs are way over cap.
Sandin and Robertson don't cost much, but somehow the Leafs have to rid themselves of Kerfoot's contract without taking cap back

I take Bjornfot over Sandin, and I take Moore over Robertson. Not sure why the Kings would downgrade both positions. No thanks.

That's funny. So, the Leafs trade Kerfoot, Sandin and Robertson and all they get is Moore. Valamaki if he wasn't claimed on waivers, would cost the Leafs cap of at least 400,000 with the Marles. due to his QO. And if you don't want to pay Bjornot, he's a UFA and least would be claimed off waivers.
Sorry, the trades and cap management is really poor with those deals.

Moore led the Kings in points after being promoted to the top 6.

Bjornfot needs more time to develop and being waiver exempt is important for a team against the cap.

Kings and Leafs trades at this point don't make sense. Both are against the cap and can't help one another.

Bjornfot is waiver eligible until his contract ends next season, and Moore has been phenomenal for the Kings as a top-6 contributor and has an insanely low cap hit.

I would actually prefer to keep Moore than get Sandin and Robertson.

Calgary doesn't have the cap room to take Kerfoot unless Tanev is on LTIR

Thanks for the Bjonfot info. Leafs have plenty of LWers, I just don't see why having one year of Moore would be beneficial to the Leafs. But gotta think Moore will be King in the future

You’re right I thought with Kerfoot playing 3 LW so no Pelletier and no Valamaaki it would work but it won’t

Moore was one of our three best players in calendar 2022 and Robertson is still iffy. We don't even have to get into the discussion of whether Bjornfot is a better long-term prospect than Sandin.
