That’s actually a huge overpay. That would be a dumb a move to by the Kings. All that just for one year of Kane. I see the extension is there but Chicago shouldn’t get compensated for the extension. I also don’t believe Kane will play well with the Kings system.

Chicago does get compensated for an extension because they could just keep him and re-sign him. If it's a 1 and done for the kings and the kings know that going in then the price is significantly lower.

Kings aren’t trading Kaliyev. Kid had 15 goals on the fourth line and some PP time. Not a chance.

there you are. was waiting for that dumb comment.

Kane's worst year of his career will be miles better than Kaliyev's best year of his career. But yea veto a Kane trade over that....

Kaliyev was also a -3 with 0 points in the playoffs...what a stud

I’d rather trade for him at the deadline for a lesser package without the extension.

Is that better for you princess?

Regardless of extension or not. This is a huge overpay. No way Kings do this trade. This is pretty ridiculous.

I think it’s better if we just don’t trade for him and improve LD. You agree?

I actually wouldn’t mind Kane if LA thinks they’re cup contenders.

But yes on the defense

I wouldn’t mind Kaner also but we just have better priorities. A lot of teams will pay more than would LA would be willing to give. I think Rob Blake will prioritize Top 4 LD. But whatever this guy is asking for Kane is complete non sense lol

Note that he hasn't accounted for the $3.9 million aggregate cap hit of Anderson and Durzi. So Sean Walker would have to be in the package instead of Grans and Kaliyev.

Moore - Danault - Kane would certainly be an interesting line to watch.
