I'm honestly kind of speechless with these trades. I mean, some of these are bananland.

Dvorak for Newhook? Come on, man.

Armia as part of a deal for two top prospects? Armie has NEGATIVE value. Teams will tax you to take him and tax you a lot. His contract is bad. Three years of a mediocre player who is constantly injured, but not enough to take advantage of his LTIR? Yeah, teams will want a 2nd or 1st to take him off your hands.

Jake Oettinger for Carey price who's probably never going to play again. The 1st round pick would be going to Dallas not Montreal in this scenario.

1) these trades are pretty uniformly terrible for the team not named the Canadiens.
2) the team still isn't good
3) you think a not good Habs team is gonna score 318 goals? That would have put them 2nd in the league last year, 6 goals ahead of the Leafs.

I dump on Leafs fans a lot (all warranted tbh) but nobody comes close the Habs fans when it comes to being delusional about their team

1. Price’s carrier is over. Ott is not worth 8M.
2. I like the Dvorak addition but I think it needs to be something other than Newhook.
3. Buffalo is not trading their future star goalie.
4. Gallagher will be with Montreal for the rest of his career.
5. OTT isn’t trading to young players.
6. Oilers wouldn’t move McLeod
7. Doesn’t make sense for Colorado to move Manson.
8. Sandin is worth more than Wideman and Harris.
9. Sandin is not signing for 4.5M.
10. McLeod and Pekka aren’t signing for that much.
11. Monahan is not getting almost 50 PTS.
