Sure, Kidney is pretty good at hockey, but Detroit had plenty of opportunities to pick him and chose not to. Detroit have nearly 50 skater prospects in the system, many of whom will be better than him at the end of their careers.

It is a joke, Basically anyone can score 100 points in the QHL What's so special about Kidney doing it? Doesn't mean it will translate well in the NHL or even the AHL. Most players that play in the Q can't score half as much by the time they get to the AHL or NHL. let's see kidney score 100 points with Laval not going to happen so it means absolutely nothing.

Breaking new.. its harder to score in the nhl as opposed to the chl. Virtually the same number of 100 point getters this season in the ohl too, so your knock on the Q is just dumb. That aside you tried to make your point by comparing mantha to kidney based on chl production as if it was a knock on value, again mantha being a good player kinda negated the point you tried to make.
