Description

Asking VAN fans. What if Horvat doesn’t want to extend? VAN has to trade him before the TDL IMO, even if they’re in the playoff picture. Don’t think they can lose him for nothing.

So what do you think a fair return for him would be at the TDL if he wants out of VAN?

I’m guessing he will resign, but would be nice to see it get done before the season started. I’m guessing they’re figuring out Miller first/ or trying to coincide with the both of them for a plan. But let’s just say for some reason he wants out.

Trade below is just a placeholder. Could be any team and any package that’s realistic. More or less seeing the return value.

Guessing a playoff team would probably be most likely or a team in need of a center with an extension either signed (which obviously increases value) or atleast talks about contract prior to trade.

Again COL and pieces are just placeholders here. Could be any team and any pieces VAN fans would like for a return.

VAN is not moving Horvat. Most likely an extension will be announced soon.

Rick Dhaliwal - says the #Canucks are still “working away” at an extension for captain Bo Horvat and everything he’s heard has been positive.

Satiar Shah - believes the sides are on track to get a deal done before the season starts. (Sportsnet 650)

By all indications, a deal will be announced at or before training camp. If they did decide to trade him, the Avs would have to include Newhook or Girard.;

Avs should take that and run really and worry about the cap later. Big undervalue on Horvat. Tbh I'd expect VAN to want Newhook as that probably means they're at least going into a mini-rebuild and tbf the Avs should probably still do it if they could work out a way to sign Horvat. Genuine 2C and all that.
