Is it really worth it to play Barron as a 7th D during games just so you can play some potential waiver pickups when you’re not even trying to win? Montreal is gonna be horrible, no point to stunt your young player’s growth to be mediocre at best.

Gudas especially as Florida's Dcore is bad enough with all the changes. Gudas is needed for Stability

Holl probs gets traded before the season starts to Seattle.

Neither player moves the needle same as Monahan, Dadonov. If they can recoup assets at the TDL, all the better. Putting Barron, Guhle in awful situation is what will stunt their growth. Buffalo almost ruined Dahlin to start his career. I think Sabres fans will agree that he should have been sheltered better.

Pairing Dahlin with Ristolainen almost ruined his career.

Gudas and Holl would be traded before they would be waived. There are teams that will give up a late pick for them. Montreal saw firsthand what average DMan will bring back at the trade deadline.

We'll see. The offseason has been wild! Pacioretty traded for nothing. Seems like Vegas may have known something about his health. Bjorkstrand though was terrible asset management. These GMs have really been so bad that they cant even help each other if they tried with things so tight.
