I'd prefer Robertson have the breakout year over AK, but i'll take what I can get.

I think Tomasino will breakout for NSH this year if he gets a consistent top 6 role. Between 50-60 points after a solid, but quiet, rookie season amassing 32 points playing mostly with 4th liners and averaging about 11.5 minutes a game.

I wouldn't say no to Timmy upping his game this year.

I kind of overlooked the "breakout year" aspect of him as I'm already expecting him to play well. I'm hoping Robertson can finally fit in to that second line role.

Most of us oilers fans already consider Yamamoto to have broken out, pretty good list though
Id 100% put Evan Bouchard as a prime candidate, i have him putting up 60+ pts if he gets pp1 time

With yamo I think we know what he is and for the most part that is a streaky scoring pest to play against. Two reasons why I'm hesitant to say bouchard is because it's his second year with the big club more often then not see a some form of a step back in second year with d so I'd consider a very successful year just maintaining what he's done not worry about bringing more also second reason is Barrie is still on the roster he could keep bouch from getting lots of top unit time. I'd personally go with Jesse because we seen last year him get off to a great start and got derailed due to injury if he gets started like that again and stays healthy could be a big increase by the end of the year. Honorable mention could be mcloed as last year progressed I thought he's game was as well. Nice to see several candidates here considering made the final four with lots of room to grow internally.

I'd go with McMichael, Johansen, or Jonsson-Fjallby before Lindgren imo. I don't even see him lasting half a season before Fucale gets a call up.

I hope Raddysh becomes a big part of Chicago’s future and let Tampa know that we fleeced them

Honestly I'd have Puljujarvi as the breakout candidate for Edmonton. Before he got COVID last year he was 28, 10-13-23 +7, which is a full season pace of 82, 29-38-67 +21. COVID and injuries derailed what would have been a great season; I think he puts it all together this year.

The other obvious choice is McLeod, whose play late in the season and in the playoffs was fantastic. With better wingers and a tad more confidence I think this guy will break out.

Bouchard was 11th in the league for 5v5 points among defensemen (just behind Adam Fox) and 10th by P/60 (just ahead of Adam Fox). Pretty sure he's had his breakout year.

Boldy was on a 68p full season pace last year, I don't see him getting close to that without Fiala this year.

MN doesn't have a lot of options for a breakout player since mostly everyone had career years last year. Greenway, Jost, Rossi, Addison and goalie Gus are the choices I see to choose from. Jost is my pick, simply because the bar is the lowest for him.

Fully agreed but not sure why didn't think about it earlier but skinner should be in the mix too. Very easy to see a path he's the starter by December. Honestly have more questions about Campbell than I do skinner. Really pleased with the limited action we saw him in and looking at campbells numbers im still a bit shocked Holland handed out as much term as he did.

Frost/Tippett/York have a much better chance than Brink, especially considering he'll be injured to start the season
