Gonna be real painful when Bedard slips away to the Vancouver Canucks

Last thing the Canucks need is another winger.

Why would the sens trade for a C when they already have Norris, Stuzlte, and Pinto? Not to mention Giroux.

The Kraken aren't bad enough to be in the Bedard sweepstakes. Chicago, Arizona, and Montreal are all way worse.

It’s also worth mentioning that Grieg can play center and Joseph has played a little center during his time in the show too.

If Grauber can be an average starter next year they may surprise people. Beniers, Wright and Gourde r three good centers to have in in ur top 9 lol.

McCann is/ has always been an analytical darling as well. If he scored 30 [tucks] last year, imagine what he can do now that they've added Bjorkstrand, Klingberg, and Beniers
Edit: Klingberg went to Anaheim. This is my brain during class.

Agreed but I expect him to play wing. No idea what happens to Wennberg lol.

You cant really count on two rookies carrying you very far. Rushing young guys has shown to be bad for player developement. Just look at the Rangers with Kakko and Lafreniere

David Pastrnak wants Panarin money, So probably 7 x $12,000,000 to sign him.

Pretty sure Yzerman plans on resigning Oskar Sundqvist some time before he becomes a UFA

Very doubtful Torey Krug would waive for Seattle, He already said that he wants to be close to home near Detroit as possible. And Seattle is over 2,400 miles away from Detroit. So not happening..

Hughes and Stutzle didn’t struggle. Maybe the Rangers didn’t draft well. Laffy and Kakko were the consensus picks at the time, but there were red flags. Laffy isn’t a great skater and Kakko has a medical issue which has slowed him down imo.

Also Dunn is more valuable than Krug based on age and contract

ummm, Jack Hughes had one of the worst rookie years for a first overall pick in NHL history. He was terrible, like Kakko that year. He definitley struggled in his first year. I wouldnt say Stutzle struggled but he wasnt amazing either

Stutzle had a good rookie year. I was more referring to the fact that Hughes was very good in his second and third years when he was healthy.

Kakko is three years in and hasn’t done anything. That’s all I’m saying.

Dang it, I forgot he went to the Ducks. I remembered him being linked to Seattle early in free agency and briefly thought he signed there.

Right but I don't see how thats relevant to Beniers and Wright's rookie season. You can count on 2 rookies as your top 9 centers to make an immediate impact.

Beniers was great last year though!!! Wright was heralded as a sure fire number 1 pick for years until scouts decided to bail for no real reason. You have Yanni Gourde as the 3C. McCann can play on the wing. You have Bjorkstrand, Eberle, Burakovsky and even Schwartz. My real concern with them is the right side of their blue line and the goalie position.

Beniers looked great, but I am more worried about Wright. He could be great, or he can flame out and have a poor rookie season like Lafreniere and Jack Hughes.

They have a lot of talent around Wright tho. Cole Sillinger played as a 18 year old last year. I think Wright should be like Sillinger next year.

Sillinger had 31 points in 79 games. Not bad, but that isn't really good enough to carry a team very far. I see them finishing around 6th in the Pacific

Yeah but if I am remembering correctly, Columbus didn’t use Sillinger in a top six role that consistently. Also the Kraken will have two centers that can shelter him anyway.
