I think New York says no. From what I have seen they seem happy with their pool of defensive prospects. I think they value the center more right now.

The Rangers left side defense is weak.. it's almost a shame when you look at the right side, Chytil keeps getting pushed down the line in NY he will be traded some time this year I think.

IMO. Your incorrect. Are left side ain’t as weak as some people think. Lindgren and Miller are great defensemen and can give 35 - 40 - 45 PTS. I like Jones. He’s young and if you play him with Schneider or Trouba that’s good for experience. Schneider has only been around 1 year but he’s a good aggressive guy.

Chytil also won’t be traded he’s a great 3C and behind Zibanejad and Trocheck that’s great IMO.

Your comment wasn't showing up so i hit your profile and noticed in a previous comment you yourself saying Chytil will be traded and in the above comment saying he will not... lol no big deal just pointing it out.

Kylington is an overpayment for Chytl, who the Flames don't really need since we already have Ruzicka, especially coming with a $2.3mil Cap Hit. I'd prefer either Kakko or Kravtson/Ludkvist + Gauthier for Kylington + a Sweetener = Pick/Prospect since NYR would be sending RFA's and Kylington is a UFA in 2 Years

Yes to Milano, No to Rodrigues, in which we keep Lucic until we absolutely need to move him out (Deadline move for another Top Player) and a 2nd to ANA to do so is about right

Finally, you'd want at least one of Rooney or Lewis in the lineup as your 4th Line Forechecking, Hitting & PK Specialists

NYR won't necessarily say no, it really depends on how their prospects perform in preseason. If they feel that their LHD aren't as ready and that they have other center prospects that are ready for a 3rd line role, they could make the trade. I do believe they are stronger at defensive depth than center depth but who knows what management will see.
