Description

This shows cap as negative but cant do 3 way trades that i know of. Theres additional retention in Kane trade of 2625000. So still around 410k in space. Also Arizona is only on the hook for just over 700k in actual salary/money. A 4th is plenty. The extra 1st to Chicago is for the cost of moving Barrie in the trade as well.

If hes only willing to go to 1 or 2 teams, the return wont be as extravagant as you think or should i say, as your dreams believe it will be. And if youre wondering why im paying to move Barrie its to make the signings i did. To deepen the team and get to an actual 23 man roster. Instead of the 20 we're sitting on.

I think with Kane having all the say in this matter Chicago wont be getting this much in a trade for him. 1 First and 2 prospects or 1 first, 1 prospect, & 1 decent youngish roster player. And if they want more the Oilers should pass, 1 yr of Kane isnt worth it. And even if he did want to resign in Edmonton they dont have the cap to do it in 23/24.
