Why do the Ducks want years of Armia at 3.4m?

Dude, what are you doing? Anaheim doesn't want to pick Armia up off of waivers, let alone pay for the privilege. Buy him out or bury him in the AHL.

You'd need to give us a third for each year of his contract remaining for us to take him, I'll drop it to a 4th after the cap jumps.

Anaheim isn't the team to be paying $3.4 million for three years to a veteran bottom-6 forward when there are prospects like Jacob Perreault and Bryce Kindopp and Sam Colangelo to give developmental playing time to. (We already have Jakob Silfverberg there.) And in general, rebuilding teams aren't interested in cap dumps unless there's an incentive involved.

Blake McLaughlin?

. . . and, I'm hoping, the unsigned Trevor Janicke.

The trade is whatever, Armia isn't likely going anywhere for a return or much of a return.

PK SUBBAN IS NOT WANTED IN MONTREAL. KEEP HIM AWAY.

K, Thanks.
